Creative economy and fusion, Humanistic discourse of sport

Interest in fusion, communication, and consilience has been high across all fields. Steve Jobs was an entrepreneur, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. His death in October 2011 was mourned by many people around the world. He is praised for merging engineering with humane studies, technology with art, and imagination with reality. Like this, there could be some difference in concept according to each characteristic and expression of fusion, communication, and consilience that reflect the flow of modern society, the meaning is integration rather than division, differentiation, or parts. This is the very reason why this subject of fusion of humane studies with natural science is still valid a year after his death. Physical education is also maintaining the subject of ‘fusion’, ‘communication’, and ‘consilience’ in discussions. This is recognizing the limits to physical education as applied science, and suggesting that fusion of humane studies with natural science is an essential alternative plan. Physical education has a wide range of fields such as History of Sport, Philosophy of Sport, Sociology of Sport, Sport Psychology, Sport Pedagogy, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Nutrition, Sport Biomechanics, Measurement & Evaluation, Sport Management, Sport & Leisure Studies, Leisure & Recreation, Adapted Physical Activity & Exercise, Dance, and Growth & Development. This could be shown as physical education being studied and developed in various directions, but on the other hand, it proves traditional limites of physical education as applied science. That is, humane studies field and natural science field within the structure of physical education are not blending together like an oil slick on the surface of the sea. This is dividing each field to bring about pursued methods and related results. Then, how can physical education obtain peculiar characteristic of science as a combination? Moreover, should natural scientification of humane studies be pursued for fusion of physical education? Or should humanization of natural science be pursued? In short, fusion of physical education would not be an easy assignment. However, it is necessary to overcome this problem for the future of physical education. Therefore, usual aspect of physical education that focused only on the results of the competition, and expand its frame with humanistic thoughts that value human movement itself. This would be the best alternative plan and choice for physical education to become wholesome.
