ABSTRACT

Human activity is changing the world’s climate but in the same time we are all exposed to climate change effects. Frequency and intensity of extreme weather events increased significantly in the last period and implies huge economic costs. In the same time health risks related to climate change are rising worldwide. Insurance industry needs to understand health risks of climate change in order to estimate their future trajectories and to be able to adapt its products, services to customer needs.
