본 연구는 가구 생애주기와 주택점유형태를 종합적으로 고려하여 주거만족도와 주거만족도 영향요인을 살펴봄으로써, 주거복지정책 수립을 위한 함의를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 가구 생애주기와 주택점유형태에 따라 거주가구의 주거만족도에 차이가 있는가? 가구 생애주기과 주택점유형태에 따라 거구가구의 주거만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들은 무엇인가?의 연구 질문을 제시하였다. 연구질문에 답하기 위해 가구 생애주기를 가구 형성기, 확장기, 축소기, 해체기의 4단계로 구분하고, 주택점유형태를 자가, 민간임대, 공공임대주택으로 구분하여 총 12개 집단의 주거만족도 및 영향요인에 대한 연구를 진행하였으며, 이를 위해 ‘2017주거실태조사’ 자료를 활용하였다. 연구결과, 가구 생애주기와 주택점유형태에 따라 분류한 집단 간 주거만족도와 영향요인에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 이와 같은 분석결과를 토대로 향후 주거복지정책의 발전을 위한 방안들을 제시하였다.

This study examined the levels of residential satisfaction and factors affecting residential satisfaction by considering both family life cycle and housing tenure. We set two research questions: (1) Are there differences in the levels of residential satisfaction by family life cycle and housing tenure? (2) If so, what are the factors affecting residential satisfaction when considering both family life cycle and housing tenure? For the empirical analysis, we used the 2017 Korea Housing Survey as the principal dataset. We divided the households into the phases of family formation-expansion-contraction -dissolution in family life cycle and into homeowners, renters, and public housing residents in housing tenure. The main findings are as follows: First, there were differences in residential satisfaction among groups as classified by family life cycle and housing tenure. Second, there were differences in the factors affecting residential satisfaction for each group. The findings suggest that research and policies on residential satisfaction need to consider both factors.
