| Abstract:
Egg production of chicken is essentially the result of the interplay of genetics, endocrine and immune systems. These systems and, hence, egg production, are affected by many unavoidable factors which compromise production. The effect of herbal products on egg production has been studied since 1986. After screening a large number of herbs for their effect on egg production, a product containing several precious herbs has been developed. A liquid preparation has been produced without the use of chemical transformation which can be administered in the drinking water of the laying house. Data is now presented on the effect of this product on egg production in chicken, both in India and the United Kingdom. Egg production can be increased by as much as 20% by the use of this product. | |
