AI 기반 기술의 혁신적 발전은 경제 성장, 사회 발전, 인간의 복지 등에 긍정적 영향을 미치고 있지만 낮은 설명가능성, 데이터 편향과 프라이버시 및 다양한 윤리적 문제들을 유발하여 AI의 설계자, 개발자, 사용자는 물론 인류와 사회에 위험을 주고 있다. 따라서 이러한 AI 시스템의 부정적 영향에 대응하기 위해 적절한 AI 윤리 기준의 마련과 AI 윤리교육이 강조되고 있다. 본 논문은 AI 윤리 기준에 함의된 가치나 원칙을 활용하여 AI 윤리교육의 방안 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내·외 정부, 연구기관, 민간기업 등에서 제시한 AI 윤리 기준을 종합적으로 분석한 후, AI 윤리교육을 위한 시사점을 도출하고, AI 윤리의 요소인 ‘AI의 윤리’와 ‘윤리적 AI’의 관계를 활용한 AI 윤리교육에서 고려해야 할 점을 제시해 보고자 한다.
While innovative advances in AI-based technologies are positively impacting economic growth, social development, and human well-being, they also pose a risk to humanity and society as well as designers, developers, users, and people of AI by causing low explainability, data bias and privacy, and a variety of ethical issues. Therefore, appropriate AI ethical guidelines and AI ethics education are being emphasized to counter the negative effects of these AI systems. This paper aims to explore ways of AI ethics education by utilizing values or principles implied by AI ethical guidelines. To this end, I comprehensively analyzed the AI ethical guidelines set forth by domestic and foreign governments, research institutions, and private companies, and then drew up implications for AI ethics education and propose methods for systematic AI ethics education by utilizing the relationship between "ethics of AI" and "ethical AI", which are elements of AI ethics.
