초록

In second language (L2) writing, linguistic forms play an important role in conveying accurate and clear meaning to readers. Focus on Form has been suggested in L2 writing pedagogy to develop students' knowledge of forms. This case study aims to explore the influence of focus on form with Web content in L2 writing instruction on the university students' writing ability. The subjects of the study are 40 students in academic English writing courses. Data collection instruments included the writing tests, the students' reflective journals, classroom observations, and the questionnaire. The main findings are as follows. First, the students showed improvement in writing ability on the post-test. Second, the students produced more accurate text on the post-test than pre-test. Last, the students perceived focus on form with Web content in L2 writing instruction positively. Based on the findings, pedagogical implications are suggested.
