성인 지체장애인의 디지털 역량 및 디지털 조력이 사회자본에 미치는 영향과 모바일 정보활용의 매개효과

고령 및 청장년층 다중집단비교분석

본 연구는 성인 지체장애인의 디지털 역량 및 디지털 조력이 이들의 사회자본에 영향을 미치는지그리고 모바일 정보활용이 매개체로 작동하는지를 살펴보았다. 또한 이상의 과정이 지체장애인의 연령대별로 차이가 날 것으로 기대하여, 고령층과 청장년층간의 집단비교연구를 수행하였다. 분석대상은 1232명의 성인지체장애인들로, 2020년 정보격차실태조사의 응답자로부터 추출하였다. 먼저 구조방정식모형분석에 의하면, 성인장애인의 교량적 사회자본은 이들의 인터넷 활용능력 및 디지털조력에 의해 직접적인 영향을 받는 동시에 모바일 정보활용을 통해서 간접적인 영향을 받았다. 다중집단비교모형 결과에 따르면, 디지털 조력이 모바일 정보활용에 미치는 효과와 인터넷 활용능력이 교량적사회자본에 미치는 효과가 청장년층에 비해 고령층에서 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 지체장애인을 대상으로 한 정보화교육에서 고령 지체장애인의 차별적 특성이 고려되어야 함을 시사한다. 본 연구는 지체장애인의 모바일 정보활용 증진을 위해 지역사회의 디지털 조력 방안을 모색하는 한편, 인터넷 활용능력을 포함한 정보화교육을 통해 고령 지체장애인의 교량적 사회자본을 증진할 수있는 전략에 대한 고민의 필요성을 강조한다

This research examined whether and how the digital competence and digital assistance of adults with physical disabilities affect their social capital with a special focus on the role of mobile device use as its medium. A group comparison study was conducted between the elderly and young adults since that the above process would be different for these two age groups of the physically handicapped. The subjects of analysis were 1232 adults with physical disabilities, which were extracted from the respondents of the 2020 Information Gap Survey. First, according to the structural equation model analysis, the bridging social capital of adults with disabilities was directly affected by their Internet use ability and digital assistance, but also indirectly affected through the use of mobile information. The multi-group comparison model analysis revealed that the effect of digital assistance on the use of mobile information and the effect of the Internet use ability on bridging social capital were significantly greater for the elderly thatn for the young. These results suggest that informatization education for the physically disabled should consider the characteristics of the elderly with disabilities. This study emphasizes the need to help the local community digitally to promote the use of mobile information by people with physical disabilities, while considering strategies that can enhance the bridging social capital of the elderly with physical disabilities.
