Abstract: Strengthening labor education in higher vocational colleges is an important measure to implement the Party’s education policy. It is not only the due meaning of cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents,but also the practical need for students to realize their self-worth. The labor education of higher vocational colleges should adapt to the attribute of vocational education, reflect the principle of differentiation, pay more attention to helping students establish correct labor values in the conceptual dimension, pay more attention to the improvement of vocational labor skills in the practical dimension, and pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ craftsman spirit in the spiritual dimension. On the basis of following the law of vocational education, higher vocational colleges can build a labor education system with the characteristics of the times and their own characteristics.
