Feasibility evaluation of Liwan 3-1 Gasfield development mode for the development of natural gas hydrate in South China SeaChinese Full Text

Abstract: Regarding the development plan of natural gas hydrate in the South China Sea,it is necessary to study its development mode. The Liwan 3-1 deep water gasfield is located adjacent to the pilot test area of natural gas hydrate development in the South China Sea and has similar environmental conditions. It has been successfully operated for many years since it was put into production in 2014,and its development model is worth learning.The development model of the Liwan 3-1 Gasfield was summarized,combined with the characteristics of the gas produced by the South China Sea natural gas hydrate,the South China Sea natural gas hydrate development mode was designed,and the technical feasibility of the production facilities and process treatment processes used in the development mode was evaluated. The results show that the Liwan 3-1 Gasfield development mode can be considered as a plan for the commercial development of natural gas hydrates in the South China Sea in the future.However,due to the limitation of the installation depth of the fixed platform and the characteristics of hydrate production,this development mode will have a certain impact on the recovery rate of hydrate-produced gas.
