Novel Spin Labeled Azacrown Ethers

Four novel spin labeled azacrown ethers contain­ing either endo- or exo-cyclic nitroxyl moieties were synthesized by short and convenient routes. These compounds should be of interest in biological studies of membranes using ESR spectroscopy.
