Abstract

This research aimed to clarify the tsunami risk of coastal area in Hokkaido. Therefore, the research presumed the population on the tsunami hazard zone. As a result, the night-time population and the daytime population were decreasing in this zone. However, many people were distributed in the zone and the important risks remained in several districts.
