ABSTRACT

Discolored teeth are the primary aesthetic concern among dental patients. While many seek professional advice and treatment, an alarming number opt for nonprofessional quick-fix solutions. The in-office bleaching modality often is overlooked in favor of at-home vital bleaching. But this option has been proven to be effective, quick and safe—either alone or in combination with other aesthetic treatments—as a method of brightening and enhancing a patient's smile.
