Study on University Credibility Crisis and RestoringChinese Full Text

Abstract: At present, universities of China are suffering the deep credibility crisis. University credibility reflects a relationship between the university and the public. The reasons of university credibility crisis are both from the universities themselves and complex social background.To restore credibility, universities must keep the mission in mind and take on heavy responsibilities, basing on the generating mechanism of social trust and combing with the specific reason for the university credibility crisis. To restore credibility, universities also must enhance the legitimacy of the university. Meanwhile, it’s need to establish the self-discipline mechanism, information disclosure mechanism, social communication mechanism and crisis management system of universities.
