Abstract: The real estate market attracts the most attention from people, and the housing price is more popular and concerned. Serving as an important signal of market judgment and decision basis of real estate management, the statistical index of housing price has attracted much more attention. Based on presentation of the research background, this article combs the current situation of the statistical index, analyses the problems and puts forward suggestions for improvement according to the common statistical method from developed countries.
