Study on the Correlation between Seed Storability and Activity of Soybean LipoxidasesChinese Full Text

Abstract: [Objective]The paper was to study the relationship of LOX activity between soybean seed vigor and storability. [Method]The new seeds and old seeds stored in 7 monthes conventionallly of 107 soybean varieties were taken advantage of materials to determine the lipoxygenase（ LOX） activity and the electric conductivity. Then,the relationship between the seed storability and the lipoxidases activity in soybean was analyzed. [Result]The result showed there are no correlation between the lipoxygenase activity and the soaked electric conductivity in new and old soybeans seed. [Conclusion]It was preliminary thought that there was no significant relationship between lipoxygenase activity and seed storability in soybean seed.
