Research on the Friction Characteristics for Paper Feeding of Printer Rubber RollerChinese Full Text

Abstract: The effect of paper feeding in printer is influenced directly by the friction characteristics of rubber roller. Based on the viscoelastic theory with standard linear solid model of rubber,the frictional contact model between rubber roller and paper is established. The distribution function of contact stress and the equation of rolling friction coefficient is also obtained. The result of numerical analysis and experiment with Matlab indicates that the distribution of contact stress is asymmetric,and both the rotational speed and stress influence the contact width,the width ratio and the friction coefficient.
