Abstract: Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of different illumination condition on the content of brain 5- HT and DA in 7- day- old female drosophilas.Methods:Seven- day- old female drosophilas were selected for the observation using enzyme- linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA),the dissertation observes the content changes of 5- HT and DA in drosophila’s brain of different time(16:00,19:00,22:00,1:00,4:00 and 7:00) in 12 h /12 h alternating light and dark and 24 h constant darkness environment and investigates the effects. Results:The content of 5- HT and DA of the drosophila brain in 12 h /12 h alternating light and dark group shows the same change trends; and the continuous dark group shows different change trends. Conclusion:There are different influences on content of 5- HT and DA of drosophila brain in different light conditions.
