Abstract: Water samples were collected every five kilometer along the Danjiang from upstream to downstream and were also collected in small watershed of the Danjiang.Meanwhile, the soil samples were collected from woodland, meadow, and farmland along the river.By using correlation analysis and ANOVA analysis methods, the characteristics and influence factors of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of the Danjiang watershed were analyzed. The results indicated that the variations of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes of precipitation in Danjiang watershed showed altitude effect.Elevation, temperature and distance had remarkable effect on the features of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes in water bodies. There was a strong negative correlation betweenδD and elevation(P<0.01,n=25).δD was positively correlated with water temperature(P<0.01,n=25).The features of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes indicated that evaporative fractionation was stronger in wide and small flow river. The distribution range ofδD andδ18 O in Dan river were(-60.98‰)-53.34‰and(-9.12‰)-7.89‰,respectively.The average values were-56.20‰and-8.29‰,respectively.As the distance of the sampling point to the source of Danjiang increased, theδD value increased gradually. The linear regression equation was y=0.0268x-59.435,and the fitting degree R2 was 0.62.The distribution range of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes at the depth of 0-10 cm in the soil water of woodland and grassland were larger than that of cropland. The distribution range of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes at the depth of 0-10 cm in the soil water of cropland was relatively concentrated. The ANOVA showed that the feature of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes at the depth of 0-10 cm in the soil water of small watershed among top of Danjiang watershed, middle of Danjiang watershed and bottom of Danjiang watershed existed significantdifferences(P<0.01,n=42).
