Abstract: Renovated tires are often put to use on timber transport vehicles in order to reduce the cost of timber transportation, but the delamination and tearing of the tire tread occur regularly because of temperature rise in the tires. In this paper,a steady-state thermal analysis model was established for renovated radial tires under the state of rolling, and a temperature measurement test was also carried out. Moreover, the numerical simulation of thermal-structural coupled field was conducted by simulation calculation and testing, which could truthfully reflect the heat stress conditions for the renovated tires.
