Abstract: Shiyang Old Town is one of the first famous historical and cultural towns of Yunnan Province,a typical region which sees the fusion of the Central Plains culture and the minority cultures of southwest China,and the coexistence and harmonious development of the alien cultures and the local cultures.It is here that Benzhu-God Worship,Confucianism,Taoism,Buddhism,Islamism and Catholicism coexist with their own features,a cultural wonder that is closely related to the constructive influence of the salt culture of Shiyang Old Town and reflects the local people’s ecological concept for the protection and rational exploitation of natural resources in the process of constructing the local religions and cultures.
