Our innovative algorithm automatically classified individual trees (a, b) or tree-rows (c, d), herbaceous vegetation and bare soil areas and, simultaneously, computed the geometric features (projected canopy area, tree height and crown volume) of each individual tree or tree-row in the whole plantation.
