YPFS induces the phagocytic activity in cultured macrophages.
Cultured macrophages were pretreated with 1/mL extract of AR, AMR, SR and YPFS separately for 3 hours; thirty µg/mL Zymonsan A was used as a positive control. The procedures of phagocytosis were followed by the protocol of Vybrant TM phagocytosis assay kit (V-6694). Values were expressed as the fold of stimulation to basal reading, and in Mean ± SD, where n = 4, each with triplicate samples. *p<0.05; **p<0.01.
