Lower panels represent the cumulative frequency of the average pathophenotypic similarity associated with genes in HDN (C) and ODN (D) subsets, the whole set of genes in HPO (PSGN) was used as the reference distribution. The p-values, included in each legend, represent the mean of the resulting p-values after 1000 non-parametric tests (Mann-Whitney test) where each subset was compared, each time, with a random sample of the pathophenome of the same size of the subset (see methods).
