Influence of cell detachment on the intracellular ATP content of B16F10-luc.
(A) Trypsinized cells (n = 6) display a marked ATP depletion compared to adherent cells (n = 6). (B) The same experiment was carried out using collagenase to harvest cells attached on collagen-coated plates (n = 3 for control and B16F10+ collagenase groups) and led to similar conclusions. Results are statistically significant (***p<0.001 for trypsinized cells, *p<0,05 for B16F10-luc+collagenase). Data are expressed as means ± SEM.
