Aberrant Neuromagnetic Activation in the Motor Cortex in Children with Acute Migraine: A Magnetoencephalography Study

Figure 4

Correlation between age and responding latencies elicited by right finger movement.

Two charts show the statistical correlation between age and latencies of movement-evoked magnetic fields (MEFs) from right finger movement. There are positive correlations between age and the latencies of MEFs in healthy controls. However, there is no significant correlation between age and the latencies of MEFs in children with migraine. The Y-axes are latencies of MEFs in milliseconds (ms); the X-axes are ages of children in years (Years). “MR” indicates children with migraine with right finger movement; “NR” indicates healthy controls with right finger movement. “Rn” indicates the correlation in healthy controls; “Rm” indicates the correlation in children with migraine.
