Susceptibility of Human Lymphoid Tissue Cultured ex vivo to Xenotropic Murine Leukemia Virus-Related Virus (XMRV) Infection

Chemokine production of tonsillar tissues infected ex vivo with XMRV.

Tonsillar tissue was infected with XMRV and chemokine concentrations were measured using Cytometric Bead Array (CBA) in samples of culture medium collected at days 2, 5, 9, 13, 16 and 22. Data are presented as cumulative amount of released chemokines over the 22 days of culture in the absence or presence of AZT and RAL. Two separate experiments using two donors were carried out. Data presented are means ±SEM.
