Toxicity of compounds 13 and 33.

The hemolytic activity of compounds 13, 33, and amphotericin B was measured (OD405 nm) by the release of hemoglobin from red blood cells after a one-hour exposure to compound at 37°C. 0.1% Triton X-100 was used as a control. The data are represented as the mean ± SD of three samples per treatment group from three independent experiments.
