Isoproterenol induced cAMP in ASM cells from asthmatic and non-asthmatic patients.

cAMP degradation was inhibited by addition of a pan-PDE inhibitor IBMX 0.5 mM (n = 15 non asthmatic and n = 10 asthmatic). Results are presented as mean ± SEM. * denotes a significant difference from non-asthmatic (P≤0.05).
