Coordinated Development of Urban and Rural Areas in Germany and Its Implication for China:Taking Bavaria State as an ExampleChinese Full Text

Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to explore the referential experiences for China through analyzing the path of coordinated development of urban and rural areas in the State of Bavaria of Germany.Methods employed were documentation and comparative analysis.The results indicate that the public services and the conditions for production and living are equalized for the residents both in the urban and rural areas in Bavaria State of Germany through five means,which are spatial planning for urban and rural areas,infrastructure construction,financial transfer payment,industrial restructuring and comprehensive land consolidation.It is concluded that under the circumstances of international financial crisis,the economic transition and development of rural-urban integration of China need a new way out,and the path of coordinated development of urban and rural areas in the State of Bavaria of Germany can provide beneficial reference points for China.
