Determination of crude polysaccharide in Xisha noni juiceChinese Full Text

Abstract: The crude polysaccharide content in Xisha noni juice was analyzed by phenol-sulfuric acid colorimetry and compared with Tahiti noni juice. The results showed that crude polysaccharide content in Xisha noni juice was 538.42~714.25 mg/100 mL with a mean of 630.34 mg/100 mL and the mean of Tahiti noni juice was 525.56 mg/100 mL. No significant differences in crude polysaccharide content of Xisha and Tahiti noni juice.
