Engineering equations for characterizing nonlinear laser intensity propagation in air with loss: erratum

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We present an erratum regarding the x-axis label in several figures, and one equation citation correction.

We found a mistake in the x-axis label for Figs. 4 and 7-13 in [1]. Specifically, the x-axis label in each of these figures should read “Telescope Power (km−1).” We also found a mistake in the equation citation in one sentence. Specifically, on p. 3979, the sentence beginning “Again, following Marburger’s Eq. (8).44) [8], Eq. (11) implies…” should read “Again, following Marburger’s Eq. (8.44) [8], Eq. (11) implies….”
