Inscription of Bragg Gratings Using Flexural Acoustic Waves

Abstract

A novel technique that uses flexural acoustic waves to periodically dither the fiber during grating writing is presented. Results show the fabrication of sampled structures leading to a precise control in the grating fabrication.
