New Determination of the Total Normal Emissivity of Cylindrical and Conical Cavities

Not Accessible

Abstract

Two expressions are derived for the total normal emissivity of diffusely emitting and reflecting cylindrical and conical cavities. The results for the cylindrical cavity substantially confirm those obtained by Sparrow. There are no formulas, in the literature of this topic, suitable for a similar comparison with our formula for the conical cavity.
