Polarized Multispectral Imaging in a Rigid Endoscope Based on Polarized Light Scattering Spectroscopy

Abstract

We investigate polarized multispectral endoscopic imaging to detect the micron-sized scatterers, tested with polystyrene spheres and animal livers. It is feasible to endoscopically image scatterer size with potential for in vivo diagnosis of dysplasia.
