Abstract: This paper expounds the work principle and the design process of hardware and software of temperature measurement system for transformer based on fiber grating sensor. The central wavelength of Bragg grating being the linear function of temperature,the fiber sensor array formulated by FBG-T-01 fiber sensor with WDM theory as temperature measurement component,the wavelength of WDM optical signal is detected by tunable F-P filter demodulation method. In order to find temperature abnormality of transformer winding in time,the system designed judges if the temperature is normal according to both the temperature and its increase ratio of measurement point.The measurement shows that the fiber grating temperature measurement system is of high accuracy and stability,which can accomplish measurement well.
