Abstract: The species and size variations of diatom population in freshwater are closely related to the environmental and hydrologic changes. In this paper,the factors influencing variations of diatom population in freshwater were reviewed,in order to provide relevant references for analysing the cause,case nature and drowning location of corpse in the water.
