Seismic Appraisal and Strengthening Design for a RC Frame-Masonry Wall Plane Composite StructureChinese Full Text

Abstract: In this paper,the seismic appraisal of RC frame-masonry wall plane composite structure for a school building in Nanjing is introduced.To be on the safe side,it is proposed that this kind of composite structure be regarded as masonry structure during its seismic appraisal process.The strengthening methods of this building are also discussed.Suggestion is put forward that this building could be transformed into flange frame column structure,which forms double seismic defensive lines.And it may serve as a basic reference for similar projects.
