Abstract: This article expounds the main idea and background of translational medicine and its development in China. Besides,it discusses the application of translational medicine in TCM preventing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease（ NAFLD） from many aspects such as NAFLD’s clinical research,basic research,inheritance of famous veteran TCM doctors’ experience,the building of translational medicine platform and team. The purpose of this article is to exchange knowledge with others and offer reference resources for TCM clinical research.
