Abstract: Objective: To study the relation between apoptosis and mesangial proliferative nephropathy,summarize the research progress in Chinese medicine on this field in recent years,and provide more comprehensive reference for clinical and research work. Methods: Inquire about latest reports and make pertinency arrangement domestic and overseas through China national knowledge internet,Wanfang data translation library and PubMed. Results: Reports about apoptosis and mesangial proliferative nephropathy benefit very much in recent years,and Chinese medicine play an important role in this field and have been a new method of the therapy. Conclusion: Apoptosis plays an important role in mesangial proliferative nephropathy,and Chinese medicine is effective in the treatment of this disease by promoting the apoptosis.
