Abstract: Objective To study the shaping ability of Mtwo instruments by perparing the simulated curved root canals. Methods Two groups resin blocks were prepared by Mtwo and ProTaper instruments. We recorded the materials removed and changing of the root canal shape. The images before and after preparation were superimposed and analyzed by software. Results There was no statistical signifcance between Mtwo and ProTaper instruments. Conclusions The Mtwo instruments show a good performance in preparing the simulated curved root canals.
