A Study on Modern Chinese Non-based AABB Overlapping WordsChinese Full Text

Abstract: AABB is a kind of common Chinese overlapping forms,usually divided into a base type and a nonbased type. The non-based AABB overlapping words form due to some certain need. They are mainly adjectives,and they say the nature of things or circumstances. And some other non-based AABB overlapping words have the characteristics of words;their combination of internal elements has a strong temporality. According to the internal structure and effect of semantic expression,it can be found that non-based AABB overlapping words have the common features of general overlapping words,and some unique aspects as well.
