Abstract: The U.S.-Japan Alliance and the U.S.-ROK Alliance showed a trend of synchronous strengthening from the middle of 2010.The tension of the Korean Peninsula was the direct cause of the synchronous strengthening,while the synchronization of security policies of the U.S.,Japan and ROK was the decisive motive force.The motive domestic politics of Japan and the ROK were indispensible as well.The synchronous strengthening of the two alliances aggravated the Korean Peninsula crisis,the strategic tension in Northeast Asia,and the danger of arms race in this region.
