Abstract: Civil religious-political movements of Saudi Arabia at the turn of the century are the logical conseguence of the development of modernization in the Absolutism period.Awakening movement has acquired power-sharing through legal status. The Islamic-Liberalism movement breaks the boundaries of religion and secular, and integrates multiple ideologies and political forces.Jihad movement becomes a great threat to the rule of the Saud family through the use of violence. The diversification trend of civil religious-political movements represents the initial sign of the development of civil society, and becomes the necessary condition for democratization.Civil religious-political movements are the impetus of political reform and democratization.Due to the lack of "Charisma" political leader and political programme that every side can accept, the different civil religious-political movements are difficult to form long-term and stable political coalition.
