Abstract: In several days,the fog and haze weather was very serious in Beijing and many areas.The whole society focuses on air pollution control and prevention measures.The main components of PM2.5 are dust and VOCs.Therefore,it is very important to reduce the production and emission of waste gas during the coatings manufacture and coating process.In this paper,the common treatment methods and characteristics of waste gas during the coatings manufacture and coating process are summarized.
