Design and Kinematics Simulation of Cam With Constant Pressure Angle Based on Line-approaching AlgorithmChinese Full Text

Abstract: The cam with constant pressure angle has the merit of steady transmission. The line-approaching algorithm has been employed to design the cam profile,which can guarantee constant pressure angle of the cam. Meanwhile,the adjacent node coordinates of the cam profile can be obtained in recursive form which can simplify the computation of computer. The error analysis of the algorithm demonstrates high accuracy and shows it can satisfy the demands of engineering application. MATLAB is adopted to calculate the node coordinates and the calculation results are imported to ADAMS to build the simulation model. The algorithm is validated by simulation which simplifies the analysis of kinematics greatly and provides scientific basis for the application of cam with constant pressure angle.
