Abstract: Objective To study the active high density lipoprotein(HDL) receptor expression upregulator from the fermentation broth of Aspergillus sp.2101.Method Active components were absorbed by macroporous absorption resin and eluted by acetone aqueous solution.Purified components were isolated by preparative HPLC and elucidated by spectral analysis.Result One pure component 2101C was isolated.Conclusion 2101C was identified as a new aspergillic acid derivative named as desoxyneohydroxyaspergillic acid.
