Abstract: Visual radiation is the part that is very easy to be damaged of the posterior visual pathway, but is hard to diagnose these kinds of diseases with normal magnetic resonance imaging. The diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)can reflect the appearance of the posterior visual pathway and it can also show the tiny anatomic structure of the nerve fiber.DTI is the only technique to research the structure of alba with no operative incision in body. The diffusion tensor imaging provides new evidence for the disease of posterior visual pathway.
