MRI Features of Dyke-Davidoff-Masson Syndrome (A Report of 5 Cases)Chinese Full Text

Abstract: Objective To analyze the MRI features of Dyke Davidoff Masson syndrome.Methods With the literature reviewed,MR images of 5 patients with Dyke Davidoff Masson syndrome were retrospectively analyzed.Results All the patients presented as right cerebral hemiatrophy with ipsilateral ventricular dilatation.In the five patients,slight ipsilateral midline structural shift was seen in one,thalamic atrophy and lentiform nucleus hypoplasia in one,cerebral peduncle atrophy in four,unilateral calvarial thickened in five,hyperpeumatization of frontal sinus in three and elevation of the petrous ridge in two patients.Conclusion DDMS has some distinguishing MRI findings.DDMS can be diagnosed according to the clinical features and MRI appearance.
