Abstract: The soil along drainage ditch around gold deposit in Tongguan County was chosen as the research object, the contents of four heavy metals, rubidium, stannum, stibium and chromium,in the soil were determined. The results showed that the accumulation of stannum and stibium were both very high and the average contents of them in sample region were 47.7~52.9 times and 112~124 times of the criteria of background concentrations. The variation coefficients of stannum and stibium in each sample region were low,and their distribution characters were similar, this was easy to cause combined pollution. The average content of chromium in each sample regions was 2.3~2.4 times of the criteria of background concentrations. The content of rubidium was lower than the criteria of background concentrations, and it not caused soil pollution yet.
