Diversity analysis on germplasm resources by AFLP and core resources construction of Vicia faba in QinghaiChinese Full Text

Abstract: The diversity on germplasm of Faba bean(Vicia faba L.) in Qinghai was analyzed by AFLP.The results showed that the effective number alleles of landraces,foreign germplasms and bred varieties were(1.065 5±0.126 3),(1.063 4±0.143 0),and(1.065 9±0.165 1),respectively.The Shannon′s information index was(0.095 4±0.144 9),(0.084 3±0.151 8),(0.074 2±0.167 9),respectively.The radio of effective allele of landrace was the lowest(73.73%),while its ploy-radio was the highest(44.51%).The radio of effective allele of bred varieties was the highest(90.39%),while its ploy-radio was the lowest(17.92%).The genetic distance was relatively large in landraces and small in foreign germplasms.Genetic structure analysis revealed that 149 Faba bean germplasm resources in Qinghai should be divided into 7 clusters.40 core resources were constructed,containing more than 80% gene information of the 149 resources,with higher total gene diversity and Nei′s gene diversity,which could be used as good parent materials for cross breeding.
